Join the Canadian Ski Patrol
CSPS Kawartha Zone is always looking for new members interested in First Aid, helping and meeting others,
who enjoy skiing and/or snowboarding and who want to have fun.
The Canadian Ski Patrol has a System-wide First-Aid Course, taught by qualified First-aid Instructors.
The basic course content is the same right across the country, with some area-specific topics added at the Zone's discretion.
The level of your skiing or sliding ability must be equal or superior to the average ability at your local resort.
Kawartha Zone includes Skyloft Ski Resort, Dagmar Ski Resort, Lakeridge Ski Resort, Brimacombe, Devil's Elbow Ski Resort, Kawartha Nordic
Trails and Sir Sam’s Ski Resort in Haliburton. We draw our membership from South Eastern Ontario.
We are currently recruiting candidates for the 2010/2011 season.
We are taking names and contact information for all interested participants as a pre-registration measure, anticipating that our on line
registration system will be available by August. The minimum age requirement to be a patroller is 18 years of age by
December 31st, 2010.
